It's HD-DVD for Microsoft and Intel

In the upcoming high-definition DVD format wars, Microsoft and Intel have chosen to go with Toshiba's HD-DVD format versus Sony's Blu-ray format. It is interesting to note that Apple has chosen Blu-ray, even though, Apple recently chose Intel to make the processors for its next generation computers. Regardless of the format, high definition DVD formats won't really pick up steam until more content HD is available, or until the next-generation gaming consoles come out in the next several months.
