The site will give you a disposable phone number that connects to your real phone number (you can even select a second number in case you aren't available at the first number). You can choose how long you want the number to be active (from one week to one month), and setup other options such as "do not disturb" hours, and even voicemail (they e-mail you the voice message as an attachment).
