Microsoft Zune 30s Die

Paul Thurrott, who owns a Zune 30, reported that his Zune would not boot up this morning due to an apparent software glitch with the date December 31, 2008. Mr. Thurrott is not the only one affected as it is plaguing a host of Zune 30 owners. For those of you with Zune 30s (I only know one person that actually owns a Zune), don't worry, Microsoft is working on a fix for this problem which has been called the "Brown Brick of Death" (BBoD).
