Fraudulent Automated Phone Call From 800-391-8627

I just got a phone call this evening on my cell phone, which showed up on caller ID only as "1 (402)". There was a computerized voice stating that it was the "security department" of my credit card calling to inform me that my card had been restricted for purchasing and ATM usage (a really vague description). It prompted me to call 1-800-391-8627 to clear up the issue or to press "1" to be transferred immediately. A quick check with my bank revealed no problems at all. No surprises, but just thought it was an interesting attempt at obtaining debit/credit card numbers. Apparently, others have also received similar calls. Be safe!

Doesn't Netflix Care About Kids?

We have been Netflix subscribers for a few years now and we love it. Netflix Watch Instantly is one of the coolest technologies that has revolutionized home entertainment. Streaming TV episodes and movies in HD on demand for $9/month is truly awesome and for many people completely replaces cable television service. Netflix is very active in their development and improvement of their infrastructure and is fairly transparent about their strategic technology choices.

But one complaint we've had for a couple years has seemed to fall on deaf ears.
