Unfortunately, my MacBook does not sleep properly. It seems to be random and I can't predict why it is forcing a power off some times. I tried to replicate the problem by closing the lid with the power adapter plugged in and unplugged, but that didn't seem to make a difference.

Cool, thanks for the link. A week ago my MacBook was still having problems sleeping. After the latest round of updates from Microsoft (released 3/9/2010), I can properly sleep the MacBook by closing the lid in Windows 7. Here's to hoping that things stay normal for the foreseeable future. I'll post if anything changes.

Well, my MacBook is still not going into sleep mode in Windows 7 whenever I either close the lid or select sleep from the Windows menu. I've spent hours troubleshooting and I still haven't figured it out.
