The word podcast has now been added to the Oxford Dictionary of English. The definition reads:
podcast noun a digital recording of a radio broadcast or similar programme, made available on the Internet for downloading to a personal audio player (Source: Neowin, AskOxford)
Who are they to tell us what constitutes our language? :) Ogden Nash should be our linguistic guide. Or as Mark Twain said, "I don't give a damn for a man that can only spell a word one way."
