Hardware Inside Mac Mini: $274.69

Analysts at research firm iSuppli say that the estimated value of the hardware inside a Mac Mini (1.25 GHz PowerPC, 256 MB RAM, 40 GB HD) which normally retails at $499 amounts to $274.69 of actual hardware. This is hardware only and does not include the operating system (OSX) and other included software. Foxxconn Electronics is likely the contract manufacturer for the hardware inside the Mac Mini.
