Call me crazy, but I am a scroll wheel power user. With the latest version of Mozilla Firefox (1.5), however, a feature that I used to use everyday is now gone. When perusing a web page, I am accustomed to pressing the scroll wheel (middle mouse click) and then moving the mouse around to "autoscroll." At the same time, by rolling the wheel up and down, you can further scroll (jump the page up or down) which is handy if you are skimming over a news web page, for example. In previous versions of FF (I upgraded from 1.0.7 to 1.5 this week), I had no problem doing it. But now you can't "sub-scroll" with Firefox 1.5. Is anyone else bummed about this as I am? I am a fan of the Ctrl+Shift+Del hotkey to Clear Private Data.
UPDATE: Thanks to firemonkey over on the Mozillazine forums, it has become apparent that the scroll wheel does not function while autoscrolling if the cursor is hovering above the autoscroll icon. (see the forum thread) I have submitted a bug report to Mozilla regarding this and have updated it with this new info.
