SquareTrade, a No-Brainer
SquareTrade plastered all over the internet, but have never actually considered buying a warranty. Yesterday, I just bought a replacement PS3 after my first one died (infamous "red screen" error). When I purchased the new PS3, the Best Buy representative offered me their warranty for $60, which I refused. This morning, I bought a 3-year warranty through SquareTrade for $27.29 (using 30% off coupon code "EASTER" valid only today 4/19, more coupon codes). If my PS3 dies within the next three years, it's nice to know that I can get it replaced without any hassle--well worth the $27.29. I recommend SquareTrade over higher-priced warranty replacement plans that you commonly find in retail stores.

Have you researched their customer service and warranty service? What do people who've had to use their warranty think about it?ReplyDelete
Reviews for SquareTrade seem to be very positive for the most part when doing a quick Google/Amazon search. Also, they get 9.98/10 on ResellerRatings.com (http://www.resellerratings.com/store/SquareTrade) SquareTrade seems like a very reputable company with a desire to offer great customer service. Hopefully, I won't ever need to use my warranty, but if I do, I will post details about my experience here.ReplyDelete
