Interactive 46-Gigapixel Image of Milky Way Galaxy

Researchers at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany have compiled a massive, 46 billion pixel image of the Milky Way Galaxy, and made it available via an online interactive viewer. The images were captured in Chile over the course of 5 years, and the entire image weighs in at 194GB.
