FireFTP Firefox FTP Client
I ran across FireFTP today, a free Firefox extension that integrates a secure, feature-packed, and very convenient FTP client right into your browser. I tested it out doing a secure FTP transfer encrypted with TLS and SSL. I used Ethereal to capture the raw packet data to examine the network traffic between my computer and my FTP server, and sure enough, the encryption works great. I recommended it for quick, single file transfers. I did experience a little bugginess with certain batch file uploads. I found some image files were cut off after the upload at the bottom. Hopefully these issues will be fixed in upcoming releases because other than that, it's a great program. For a powerful, stand-alone FTP program, check out SmartFTP. (Source: FireFTP)
