New Intel Core 2 Processors Rock

Intel has recently released their new Core 2 line of processors: the Core 2 Duo and the Core 2 Extreme. Prices range from $183 for the Core 2 Duo E6300 (1.866 GHz, FSB1066 QDR) to $999 for the Core 2 Extreme X6800 (2.933 GHz, FSB1066 QDR). The benchmarks are in at a number of hardware sites and the new line of Intel chips are outperforming AMD's processors significantly. (Source: Slashdot)
